Venezia, Ca’ Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna
The intention of the exhibition is to present the Elgiz Collection in Venice, the first private contemporary museum in Istanbul, upon the invitation of the museum “Ca’ Pesaro, Galleria Internazionale di Arte Moderna, Venezia. Sevda and Can Elgiz’s acceptance of this invitation, which has never been offered to another collection in Istanbul before, is for the presentation of Abdurrahman Öztoprak’s works, which have been predominant in their collection for quite a while. The exhibition should be evaluated primarily as a special dialogue between the artist and the collector. The premise of the exhibition is the realization and presentation of this dialogue.
